Packaging Design

Introduction

Packaging design is not just about aesthetics; it is about functionality, user convenience, and environmental considerations. This project explored three distinct aspects of packaging design: Redesigning Existing Packaging, Creating Packaging for objects without packaging and Designing Packaging for a new product.

Task 1

Board Game Redesign

Chosen Product: Genius: Scrabble Game with Letters and Numbers.

Why this Product? Scrabble is popular for both education and entertainment but has usability issues in its packaging.

Issues found in Current Packaging

  • Visual design is too cluttered.

  • Elements inside the packaging are loosely kept.

  • Number and letter tiles are mixed, making it difficult to separate them.

  • Information on how to play the game is not provided.
